The Mount Washington Auto Road is along Route 16 in southern Coös County, New Hampshire, 8 miles
south of Gorham and about 10 miles north of Jackson. It is just north of Pinkham Notch and Wildcat ski area,
and is just south of Dolly Copp Campground. Just look for the assortment of buildings at the Glen House site;
it shares the same area with Great Glen Trails!
There is plenty of parking available if you don't want to drive your own car up the mountain; just pull up into
the large lot on the east side of Route 16 across from the road entrance. Stage van tickets can be purchased
inside the visitor center!
